Sign-in methods

This signs you out on all devices, including this one.

Children

Up to 3 children in total. Only birth month and year are stored. No name and no photo are stored. The first child is also the profile used by Little Bites. Children are shown by birth month and year, and by age in months calculated from that month and year.

What data is stored

This list covers data stored in the central account database. Data in other places is listed separately below, because it is not deleted by the buttons on this page.

Sessions

Session details show the date a session started and when it expires. Session codes are not shown here.

Export and import

Export downloads a JSON file with your central account data: account details, sign-in methods, children, saved and tried play activities, and Bites food logs and readiness checks. It does not include session codes, sign-in codes, or Google account identifiers. Import reads that same file format and adds items that are not already stored. Import never deletes stored items.

Import a previously exported file

Data in other places

Little Sounds: saved words, hidden words, flags, and practise list are stored in the Sounds database, which is separate from the central account database until Sounds is migrated. Deleting your central account does not delete Sounds data yet. To delete Sounds data, contact hello@littleworld.fyi.
Notify me signups: launch notification signups are stored separately from accounts, by email and app. They are not shown here and are not deleted by the buttons on this page. To remove a signup, contact hello@littleworld.fyi.
Little Bites: food logs, allergen and reaction logs, and readiness checks are stored in the central account database, so they are included in export and in whole-account deletion. Detailed logs are managed in the Bites app itself.
Sign-in codes: codes are stored only as a hash, expire in 10 minutes, and are deleted after use or expiry. They are not shown here and cannot be exported.

Google sign-in

Google sign-in is planned for a future version. It is not available on this page yet. When it arrives, linking will work only from inside a signed-in account: you will sign in with an email code first, then link Google from here. A Google account will be matched by Google's stable account identifier, not by email alone, so an email match on its own will never sign you in or link an account.

Delete data

Deleting play data removes saved and tried activities only. Deleting children removes birth month and year records only. Neither action deletes your account.

Delete my whole account

This deletes your central account, your sign-in methods, your sessions, your children, your play data, and your Bites logs and readiness checks. This cannot be undone. It does not delete Sounds data or Notify signups, as explained above. After deletion, you will be signed out.
